Taming technologies for over 10 years
Steven Pryer started using computers for graphic design and song writing in the 1990s. He has since gone on to use computers for many different applications including video editing and DVD authoring, 3D animation, sound engineering, user interface design, content management design and IT infrastructure design and build. Steven has also delivered many different training courses to all age groups, from showing nursery toddlers how to get to grips with Adobe Photoshop, to training teachers in the wider application of IT across the curriculum, and teaching retired folk how to build databases!
Network management
Steven has had many years experience as a traditional Network Manager and during this time he was determined not to simply stick with the old favourites, but to try new ways of doing things on different platforms. Subsequently he has used Apple Macs and Linux as well as Microsoft Windows and even Unix for a wide variety of computing needs, from advanced desktop applications to simple server deployments.
Qualifications
Just experiencing these different arenas wasn't enough for him, and he was determined to attain qualifications as well. Rather than specialise in one particular field, he wanted to offer balanced advice across multiple platforms.
